For the Painting 1 course at Gordon College, we were required to keep a watercolor sketchbook for homework assignments and paint sketches. This practice changed the way I viewed painting and allowed it to be a more on the go experience. This particular piece was yielded from an assignment to take home a Zinnia and sketch it in our book.
